Fulham in Talks to Sign Arsenal Winger Reiss Nelson – Latest Transfer Update

Fulham have approached Arsenal to discuss the possible signing of winger Reiss Nelson. The 24-year-old spent part of last season on loan at Craven Cottage. Although injuries limited his time on the pitch, Fulham remain interested in bringing him back.

Nelson showed promise during his loan spell. However, a hamstring injury sidelined him from December onward. Despite that, Fulham’s coaching staff saw enough to believe he can still contribute.

This summer, Fulham are exploring a second loan move. But Arsenal would rather include a permanent transfer clause in any deal. The Gunners want to trim their squad and raise funds for new signings. They also believe Nelson may benefit from more consistent playing time elsewhere.

Nelson has two years left on his Arsenal contract, signed in 2023. While he came through the academy with high expectations, he has struggled to secure a regular role in the first team under Mikel Arteta.

Fulham see Nelson as a valuable option on the wing. They want to add pace and creativity in wide areas before the new Premier League season begins. His familiarity with the team and system gives him an edge.

Talks between the two clubs are ongoing. A loan with an obligation to buy or an outright transfer are both possible. Fulham remain hopeful they can finalize a deal in the coming days.
